In this workshop students will learn how to loosen up and apply their paint in a gestural, painterly manner. Techniques and observations will be shared on what it takes to "loosen-up" your paintings. The common denominator is simplification. The more you simplify what you do, the more it frees your mind to concentrate on staying loose. Students will practice using bigger brushes, more paint and working faster. Color will be taken to unexpected new places! A supply list will be provided upon registration. Students should bring several canvases in preferred sizes and most importantly REFERENCE photos! “Everyone has their own favorite colors, brushes, mediums, canvases. Any supplies you have will be fine!” says instructor Souby. Upstairs
