Oil Painting, Drawing, Acrylic

Born and raised on the picturesque Connecticut shoreline, I was surrounded by the captivating blend of nature and literature from an early age. Growing up with an English teacher father and a librarian mother, the power of storytelling and creative expression was instilled in me from the very beginning.
I hold a BFA in Studio Practices and a minor in Art History from Marymount Manhattan College in New York City. Drawing from the influences of my upbringing and my academic pursuits, my artwork resonates with a rich blend of personal experiences, emotional narratives, and a touch of whimsy. Each stroke of my brush tells a story, capturing fleeting moments of beauty or exploring the depths of the human experience. With a keen eye for detail and a love for experimentation, I create visual narratives that invite viewers to embark on their own journeys of contemplation and introspection. |
"The process of painting is one of discovery. It’s an exploration into unfamiliar territory, the nuance in a shadow or the way light reflects off the bridge of a nose, culminating in an apex of understanding what we once believed familiar."
