In 2005 I graduated from Southern Connecticut State University with a BS in Elementary Education. I spent several years teaching in the classroom before the birth of the first of my four children in 2008. It was then that I decided to homeschool. During my homeschooling journey, I have taught art to preschoolers and mixed-age groups both in homeschool co-ops and privately for many years. I love incorporating literature and art in my lessons, allowing students to experiment with a variety of media while learning about great authors and artists. As an artist I enjoy telling stories through my art, illustrating and developing original characters. I love taking on art challenges, trying new art forms and making messes.
