Deb Lasher
Teaches: Children's Drawing and Specialty Classes
Deb has been a Cheshire resident for 25 years. She started her involvement with Artsplace when her children started taking classes there. She then starting teaching there in 2005. Her most popular offerings are “Things You Can’t Do at Home” and “Fairytopia Camp”. She also provides instruction in a variety of drawing and multimedia classes, camps and workshops to children in kindergarten through 9th grade. She stresses the importance of having fun with art and being creative through experimenting with new mediums.
Deb has been involved in sharing art in the community by teaching at New Britain Museum of Art, Mattituck Museum, the Yellow House, Arts Day, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts programming and the Cheshire Public School system. When Deb isn’t teaching in Cheshire she loves spending time in Cape Cod with her family and dog, Juju. |
