Drawing for Grades K-2 (Grades K-2)    
Saturdays, January 22-March 12, 9-10:30 am  (7 weeks)    
Students will learn tips and tricks from a career-long illustrator, gaining foundational drawing and design skills. This class will include drawing game warm-ups and incorporate art history. Students will “try their hand” at a variety of drawing implements including markers, pencils, colored pencils and crayons.

Experience what it's like to be an illustrator by exploring ways drawing can enrich our life through fun warm-ups, sketching (to train our eyes and gather ideas) and finished drawings. Build on art basics and look to master artists for inspiration, with the goal of establishing lifelong art skills and visual literacy. Pencils, colored pencils, markers and crayons will be used.

Learn a wide range of skills in this fun class using water-based paints such as tempera and watercolor. Students will learn to layer images and create fascinating textures. Subjects will include animals and landscapes, real and imagined, in a painted habitat. (Wear old clothes!)

Art Exploration (Grades 3-6)    
Wednesdays, January 26-March 9, 4:30-6 pm  (7 weeks)    
New projects each week will focus on learning different art skills and introduction of a wide variety of materials such as watercolor, colored pencils, charcoal, pastels, collage and printmaking. The goal to build lifelong art skills. (Wear old clothes!)

Stuff You Can't do at Home (Grades 5-8)    
Wednesdays, January 26-March 9, 6:30-8 pm  (7 weeks)  Learn a new technique each week (for example: resin, plaster, glue guns, wood burning, etc.) that requires space and is frequently messy. (Wear old clothes.)

Manga / Anime (Grades 6-12)    
Mondays, January 24-March 14, 6:30-8 pm  (7 weeks)   
Work in black and white to create animé-style characters before you delve into color. You will develop confidence in figure drawing by working on your own project. Independent study is encouraged.

Foundations of Art for Homeschoolers (Ages 7-11)
