Prerequisite: Beginner Colored Pencil Class or instructor approval. Develop your layering and drawing skills as you begin work on independent projects. You will begin exploring color theory, advance your knowledge of color choices and learn more tips and techniques for working in this versatile medium. |

Improve Your Composition Class
This class is all about figuring out “why a painting works” by first viewing examples of great works of art. Lecture will be followed by hands-on with pencil and charcoal to explore the "Golden Ratio" concept used by artists for centuries. Intermediate level students will benefit from these classes and learn to see and use proportion, symmetry, asymmetry, balance, schemes and the third dimension - depth - to create a center of interest in compositions.
